Magdalena show everybody for another time that she is a great player. She could have won the match in the third set as she was leading 4-2. There was a big fight as both players want to win their opening match of 2009. At the end of the 3rd set, Wozniak kept her nerves and finish tha match with a 3/6 7/6 5/7. The match last over 2 hours under the hot sun of Auckland.
Magdalena's next tournament will be next week in Hobart International Tournament in Australia.
